Is publishing really free?
Yes, one qualifying publication per author account each calendar year, once your email is verified. After that, articles are a fixed fee and books start at a fixed price. See pricing.
Do I keep the rights to my work?
Yes. You choose the license, and you keep ownership. We only receive the rights needed to host and publish it.
What does the readiness report check?
Structure, language, references, metadata, file quality and length for the publication type. It's free and instant, and it never changes your manuscript.
Will a human look at my work?
Every submission is screened by the editors before publication. For editing, proofreading or design, choose a human service when you submit.
Which files can I upload?
.docx, .doc, .odt, .rtf, .txt, .pdf, .epub for manuscripts; .jpg, .png, .webp for covers. See the limits in our policies.
Can my institution publish with you?
